Landscape Maintenance - Organic Fertilizer

About Organic Fertilizers

Introduction

Organic fertilizer is the term used when the nutrients contained in the fertilizer are derived from the remains or a by-product of an organism. Organic fertilizers use all natural minerals and elements to provide essential nutrition to plants, trees and lawns. Unlike chemical fertilizers that concentrate on the plant itself, most organic fertilizers are designed to build up a healthier soil and therefore providing a strong beginning for the life of the plants.
Fertilized Lawns and Gardens

Organic fertilizers also attract beneficial soil organisms that live within the soil. They actually assist in breaking down the elements of the fertilizer making it more efficient. Organic fertilizers are also pet friendly as they are chemical free.
