Inside of tiles or fiberglass pool liner is all that is needed for above ground pools. The liner can be installed as soon as the hole is dug but it is important for the installer to keep tension with the pool liner when installing because over time the liner will gradually loosen and cause the bottom of the pool to be uneven and bumpy.

The main type of swimming pool liners that are used nowadays is the vinyl pool liner. It is a very strong and sturdy material which has been used for many years and recommended by all pool construction specialists. The vinyl liners are thick in quality and made to last and withstand the weight of water inside the pool. The vinyl itself is put through a process where it is coated in a PVC plastic which offers it superior durability and strength.

Patterns range from simple edging designs to give the effect of tiles or design which include extravagant taste and style. The coloring of the pool liner can also be suited to match the coloring which is used in the pattern.

How to Install Pool Liners

Installing Pool Liner The installation of swimming pool liner is very simple and effective. If replacing old liner all water needs to be completely drained out of the pool. Secondly the pools bottom drains needs to be covered. Begin to place the pool liner in the shallow end of the pool. Remember that the liner has been measured to fit the measurements of your pool so matching up the corners may be a good start. A liner vacuum should now be used to take all the air out of the liner. The installer will know that it is done right because the corners should be aligning. Face plates can be used to keep the liner in place near steps and corners. The pool is ready to be filled up and used now.
