Pool Safety Equipment Products

There are various different types some are more expensive than others but costs should not be a problem when it comes to safety of pool areas. Some pool safety equipment products are standard and they must be used in swimming pools by law.

Pool Fences

Pool fence All swimming pools by law should be fenced off as there is never a substitution for a supervisor. Pool fencing is added security and ensures that children playing outside the home will not be able to enter the pool because of the fencing. Not only does pool fencing offer protection from children but it also offers protection from; pets, handicapped, elderly and younger children.

There are many different types of pool fencing available to suit the requirements of your pool and yard area. Pool fences must be a certain height so that children or animals can not climb up over the fencing, check your local county guides for fencing laws. Gates and latches are installed to all pool fences to offer adults using the pool easy access.

Pool Alarms

Pool alarms have become a very popular pool safety equipment product for their efficiency and accuracy. They are able to detect an object weighing 15lbs entering and exiting the pool. They have in built wave detectors which are adjustable and they are very sensitive and prevent drowning. When a person enters the pool a loud siren emits to ensure pool owners of the person entering the pool.

The control panel of the pool alarm is located at the pools wall and it is child proof and operated by heavy duty batteries. Hand held remotes are available with selected models. The remotes can be taken inside the home or at a range of 100 ft. pool owners inside heir homes with the remote located near them will be able to hear of someone enters the pool as the remote will also let off a siren sound.

Pool Ropes

Pool Rope For children who are using the pool and are not yet confident or have the ability to swim in the deep end of the pool a pool rope can be installed. The idea of this pool safety equipment product is to block off the deep end of the pool using the rope. The rope contains a net which does not allow children to go past the net. The children are able to play in the shallow end of the pool without the supervisor worrying that they will drown in the deep end. Pool safety signs should always be in areas where they are highly visible.
